It works as dispersant and acidic activator, removing metal oxides on PCB pads, improving solder wetting performance and preventing tin ball formation, serving as key organic acid for halogen-free flux systems.
2. Industrial & institutional cleaning detergents
- Acid cleaner and descalant for limescale removal on equipment and pipelines.
- Laundry sour and rinse aid for commercial laundry, neutralizing residual alkali on fabrics to avoid yellowing.
- pH adjuster and auxiliary chelating agent for aqueous cleaning formulations.
3. Synthesis of polymers
Raw material for polyester polyols applied in polyurethane elastomers, coatings and adhesives; feedstock for dicarboxylate ester plasticizers, and modifier for alkyd resins and unsaturated resins.
4. Leather and textile finishing
pH regulator for leather tanning and neutralization processes; auxiliary agent for dyeing and buffering systems.
5. Other fine chemical uses
Auxiliary agent for metal surface treatment and rust prevention; starting material for producing various dicarboxylate ester solvents; compounding buffer and auxiliary additive for water treatment.
